Description Habitat: The Womack Ranch lies at the confluence of the Guadalupe and San Antonio Rivers and includes many different habitats from flooded bottomlands, wetlands, riparian woodlands, savannah, and prairies. The diverse habitat allows for high bird diversity throughout all months of the year.
Birds Expected: 50-100+
Depending on habitat conditions, birding stops may include grasslands for sparrows, riparian woodlands for migrant songbirds, or large wetlands for waterfowl, wading birds and shorebirds.
